My name is Bob Swallow and the purpose of this website is to have a place to display the many short stories, poems and bits and pieces that I have written over the years. It seemed better than leaving them in a box on top of a bookshelf in my study.
Most of these writings were created when I was attending a course in Creative Writing at Hull University. The course title was 'Once Upon A Time'. After a while it became 'Happily Ever After' and eventually 'The Story Continues'.
The course was run by Nora Jones, Nodge, to her friends and I count myself lucky to be one of them. Nodge presented us, over the years, with a wide variety of stimuli for writing as can be seen if you get round to reading my efforts.
After each term I received a number of college credits but I wasn't there for those. I was there to write and I wrote thousands of words.
